We are hiring part-time enrichment and in-shop instructors for the 2025-2026 school year. If you are passionate about kids and crafts, this is the perfect opportunity to earn extra cash while doing what you love!
Teach our incredibly popular Craftsman & Apprentice curriculum in a K-5 setting. We will provide all the materials, tools, supplies, and support to ensure that each class is a fantastic experience.
Teachers will travel to schools in the Denver area to provide after-school enrichments for kids ages 5-12. Teachers must be available for at least three afternoons per week.
- Exact hours and contract duration are determined by location
- Typically, 1-1.5 hour classes with 8-12 week sessions during the week
- Class sizes no larger than 15 kiddos
- Curriculum/supply pick-up once/week at our main location (Five Points/Downing area)
- Most schools a part of Denver Public Schools
- Must be able to commit to at least three classes/week. Up to five classes may be available.
- All positions are part time
- Additional opportunities to pick up school break camp days, birthday parties, and weekend classes.
Compensation
$60/one hour class
$67.50/75 minute class
$75/90 minute class
- Compensation includes supply pick-up at our main location and the time spent on location
- One day a week you visit the shop to gather all supplies for the week.
- On teaching days, you arrive on location 20 minutes prior to class to set up and are done once all the kids are picked up and your room is clean.
In-shop teaching opportunities paid at $20/hour
Training
Six to eight hours of paid training at the rate of $20/hour
