Position Summary: The Assisted Living Facility Administrator oversees the facility's general administration, leadership, and day-to-day operations. This position assures compliance with all state and federal rules, promotes resident well-being and safety, supervises personnel, and upholds high levels of care and customer service. The Administrator is the main point of contact for residents, families, regulatory agencies, and the community.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the assisted living facility's daily operations to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain compliance with all relevant state, local, and federal rules, licensing requirements, and company policies.
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees to ensure excellent performance and a positive workplace environment.
Create, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure resident care and safety.
Manage budgets, keep spending under control, and assure the facility's financial sustainability.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for both residents and the facility.
Create an inviting and supportive environment for residents, families, and visitors.
Coordinate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and vendors to meet resident needs.
Address and resolve any resident or family complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Lead emergency preparedness planning and ensure that workers are properly educated to respond.
Qualifications:
Current state-required Administrator license or certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience in senior living, healthcare management, or a related field.
Include occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call hours to address operational needs.
