Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Bellman to join our team. As a Bellman at The Box House Hotel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests' comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive. Your warm demeanor, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile will contribute to creating a welcoming and memorable stay for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
· Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
· Assist guests with their luggage, ensuring careful handling and prompt delivery to their rooms.
· Provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.
· Offer assistance to guests with special needs, including elderly guests or those with disabilities.
· Maintain a neat and organized lobby area, ensuring it reflects the hotel's standard of excellence.
· Coordinate with front desk staff to ensure seamless check-in and check-out experiences.
· Provide timely and courteous responses to guests' inquiries and requests.
· Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both guests and colleagues.
· Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth operation and excellent guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
. MUST have a car for this position.
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality is a plus.
· Previous experience as a Bellman or in a customer service role preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
· Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy luggage.
· Familiarity with the local area and attractions.
· Professional appearance and attitude.
· Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
