Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our clientele.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with personalized assistance in selecting cannabis products.
- Educate customers about different strains, product types, and consumption methods to ensure informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate cash register operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized display of products while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable products.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance on customer service best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Experience in fast paced store environments or similar retail settings is a plus.
- A passion for cannabis culture and knowledge of various strains and products is highly desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
