Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Cannabis Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and educating clients about our wide range of cannabis products. Your expertise will help customers make informed decisions while ensuring full compliance with state regulations.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about cannabis, skilled in communication, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist in selecting cannabis products tailored to their needs.
- Educate customers on strains, consumption methods, and product effects.
- Accurately handle cash transactions using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked product display.
- Upsell complementary products based on customer preferences.
- Ensure full compliance with state cannabis regulations.
- Supervise junior staff and assist in onboarding new team members.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and positivity.
- Apply retail math skills to manage inventory and support stock control.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage a diverse clientele.
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
- Knowledge of retail math
- Ability to upsell while maintaining a customer-first approach.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
