JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS
- Work with business departments to identify and understand data needs and document functional and technical requirements
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data
- Work with technical development teams to design and document reporting and analytics solutions within our enterprise data platforms
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis that provide our business with concrete and actionable insights
- Develop a broad understanding of Starkey’s customer experience, business-to-business model, products, market, and emerging business priorities and capabilities and utilize data intelligence to support the achievement of business objectives.
- Build data models, transformations, measures, KPIs, reports, dashboards, using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL.
- Prepare summaries to ensure that the analysis outcome is packaged in a clear and concise manner that “tells the story” to a wide range of business partners to allow the business to make informed decisions.
- Assist in developing our multi-source data architecture and analytics processes to ensure a single source of truth across the enterprise.
- Design and build automated solutions in Power BI for business user created Excel based analytics scorecards and reports
- Support our business customers with ad hoc data requests, troubleshooting, reporting enhancements, and break/fix support.
- Perform other duties/responsibilities as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience
- 2 years’ experience in data related roles such as business intelligence, data analytics, data science, data engineering, or financial analysis preferred
- Experience building and maintaining Power BI (or similar tools) datasets and reports is preferred
- Experience with Oracle’s EBS, or other ERP platforms is preferred
Knowledge / Technical Requirements
- Skilled in Data Analysis techniques and experience analyzing large and complex datasets
- Understanding Data Visualization best practices
- Understanding Business Intelligence best practices and data product lifecycles such as CRISP-DM
- Familiarity with a variety of data analytics tools. Prefer experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Excel, Azure Data Factory, MS SQL Server, Etc.
- Fluent in a data analytics language such as: SQL, DAX, Python, R, Microsoft Power Query
- Understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, data mining
- Understanding of Agile methodology and Azure Dev Ops or Jira
- Understanding of basic six sigma or continuous improvement methodology
- Experience with Oracle EBS ERP, Salesforce, manufacturing supply chains
- Strong MS Excel skills and other Microsoft Products

The annual salary for this position is between $75,460 - $102,900 / year. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
