A Cabinet Maker performs a variety of tasks in the manufacturing of custom cabinets. Duties include operating woodworking machinery (Router, Double-Miter Saw, Sliding Table Saw, Bandsaw, Edgesander, etc), sanding, and setting hardware and fronts. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, including saws, routers, and sanders.
- Assemble cabinet components, including guides, hinges, fronts, end panels, nosed shelves, etc., according to blueprints and specifications.
- Putty and sand face frames, install custom mechanisms, and route-in components.
- Cut and build cabinet toeboxes.
- Assist in loading trucks for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years+ of experience in woodworking.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely with woodworking machinery.
- Valid CA driver's license with a clean driver's record.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (50+ Lbs).
