Position Summary
Calibration Technician provides calibration services while maintaining Hitemco calibration database and other supporting capacities that may be required by the Maintenance Manager. This position tests, calibrates and repairs equipment for conformance to established standards and assists in formulating calibration standards by performing a variety of duties.
Essential Functions
1. Perform all planned and unplanned calibration services.
2. Create, manage and maintain calibration Standard Operating Procedure documents and databases in accordance with AS9100, NADCAP, NQA-1 and all other pertinent customer specifications.
3. Analyze, plan, implement and coordinate existing and new calibration systems and components.
4. Troubleshoot equipment and systems, determining appropriate actions for resolution.
5. Work with the Quality Systems Manager to understand and maintain compliance to industry standards.
6. Develop professional working relationships with all staff, responding to requests for service in a timely manner as to reduce plan equipment downtime.
7. Manages assigned tasks and projects to meet company needs and deadlines.
8. Maintains a neat and organized work area.
9. Observes all safety rules and regulations. Must act safely and be responsible for the safety of others around work area.
10. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
11. Manage and maintain company CMMS utilizing on-site software
12. Experience with industry audits and audit preparation
13. Manage and maintain internal tooling utilizing on-site software

Work Environment
This job operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computes, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift and or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday thru Friday 6:30am to 3pm. The position will require the availability for overtime as scheduled and unscheduled. On some occasions it will require off-hours to support Production, facilities and maintenance.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company.
Education/Comp
· High School Diploma or GED
· Knowledge of CMMS, PLC, electronics, precision measuring instruments
· Ability to read and understand blueprints
· Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
