Administration and Management
Direct all City operations to ensure effective and efficient operation of City Departments. Responsible for the annual budget process and policy recommendations. Communicate council decisions to appropriate staff. Enforce the laws, ordinances, and resolutions of the city as authorized by the City Council. Serve as the City’s representative with other governmental agencies and private entities. Respond to citizen complaints either directly or through appropriate personnel.
South Central Service Cooperative
SCSC facilitates programs and services for school districts and local governments in south central Minnesota. Established in 1976 as one of nine regional service cooperatives, SCSC enhances member services and acts as a service extension for both members and state agencies. It is funded through program facilitation and membership dues. While focused on a nine-county region, many programs have broader outreach.
