Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various commercial settings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Cleaning Technician will ensure that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants.
Duties
- Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that need cleaning or maintenance.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards customers and colleagues.
