Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Ensure all restrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance.
- Supervise cleaning staff when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Collaborate with management to develop cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus.
- Supervisory or management experience in a cleaning or custodial environment is desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and standards is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
