Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and related construction activities. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality concrete surfaces and structures. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for performing heavy lifting, and collaborating with other trades on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Install rebar and formwork as required for various concrete structures
- Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting tasks associated with concrete placement and finishing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on the construction site
- Assist in renovation, restoration, and new construction projects as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction fields
- Mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Experience in rebar installation, concrete forming, hardscape, plastering, carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and heavy equipment operation is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Previous experience on construction sites is essential

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
