Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on multiple job sites. This role ensures that all projects are executed safely, on schedule, and within scope, while upholding the company’s quality standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in both general construction and restoration, and excels in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all on-site construction activities for renovation and restoration projects
- Manage subcontractors and field crews to ensure quality and timeliness
- Perform daily site walks, quality control, and resolve field-related issues
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant job site
- Ensure proper use of safety gear and PPE for all crews
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Field Operations staff
- Monitor project scope, plans, and client expectations
- Maintain site documentation including daily logs, photos, and reports
- Lead subcontractor meetings and trade coordination efforts
- Track materials and verify deliveries
- Support close-out procedures, including punch list and final inspections
- Set the tone on-site with positive leadership and effective task delegation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction supervision or field management
- Commercial renovation or restoration experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and documents
- Familiarity with trades such as carpentry, drywall, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
- Excellent communication skills — verbal, written, and visual
- Strong leadership and delegation abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized under pressure
- Professional interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset
- Committed to job site safety and compliance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- IICRC or other certifications are a bonus
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend or evening shifts as needed
