About the Role
Mike Hold Corporation is seeking a highly capable Financial Controller to lead our internal financial operations across multiple entities. You will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, managing sales tax compliance across states and countries, overseeing multi-entity reconciliations, and building forecasts that help drive decision-making as we scale.
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to our founder and CEO. It requires exceptional attention to detail, strong QuickBooks Online proficiency, and the ability to operate within a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate is CPA-preferred, proactive about cutting unnecessary costs, and energized by the idea of helping small businesses thrive.

- Augusta Lawn Care Franchise – One of the fastest-growing landscaping and lawn care franchises in North America.
- Copilot CRM Software – A platform built for home service businesses to streamline scheduling, estimating, and payments.
- Mike Andes Media Group – A content and education arm producing YouTube shows, books, and online resources for business owners.
We plan to go public in the next 6–10 years and are building a world-class internal finance team to support that trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain monthly P&Ls and balance sheets for 7 business entities, including: Mike Hold Corporation (consolidated), Augusta Franchise LLC, Copilot Software LLC, Mike Andes Media Group LLC, and others.
- Oversee multi-entity sales tax compliance (multi-state & international), especially for software and real estate entities
- Reconcile Stripe revenue deposits and create internal financial reports specific to Command Center operations
- Support investor updates with clean, auditable financials
- Build and manage forecasts, budgets, and variance reports across entities
- Identify opportunities for cost savings by canceling unused tools, subscriptions, and services
- Collaborate with CEO and accountants to prepare for annual taxes and long-term financial strategy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred
- QuickBooks Online experience required
- Experience working with multi-entity or holding company structures
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, reconciliations, and GAAP principles
- Proven ability to build budgets, forecasts, and analyze trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS, franchising, real estate, or media
- Startup or fast-scaling business background
- Familiarity with Stripe Tax, ADP, and automated accounting workflows
Work Environment & Location
- Remote candidates welcome, but preference given to those who can come in-person to Blaine, WA
- Must be available for Pacific Time zone meetings and deadlines

Pay: $69,642.00 - $98,054.00 per year
