Job Summary
The Crew Leader plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for leading a team in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. The Crew Leader will oversee daily operations, assist with training new team members, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of crew members to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food handling procedures are followed according to safety standards.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Train new employees on food service protocols, kitchen operations, and customer interaction best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas to meet health and safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Skills
- Experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Familiarity with cash register systems and retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also taking initiative when needed.
- Excellent communication skills to provide clear instructions to team members and interact with customers.
- Previous experience in a quick-service fast food restaurant is a plus but not required.
