We are currently in search of a Pump Crew Member for an open position on our 3 person team. This is a great position if you enjoy fixing things, working outside, and helping people.
Position Title – Team Member
Reporting – Reports to Team Leader
Classification – Regular Full Time
Description – Responsible for pulling, setting, and repairing of turbine and other irrigation pumps and equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in pulling and working on irrigation pumps.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and other tools.
- Operate a pump truck, forklift and other heavy equipment safely and responsibly.
- Drive pick-up and trailer to and from job sites, back up trailer.
- Keep the equipment and inventory areas clean and orderly.
- Follow all safety procedures and report violations immediately to manager.
- Perform physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
- Maintain a professional appearance and professional interactions with customers and co-workers.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Work overtime as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Heavy equipment operation and rigging experience.
- Must be reliable, have a good attitude, work well with others, have attention to detail and self-starter initiative.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Irrigation experience a plus.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Ability to stand, stoop, climb, use ladder, walk on hard surfaces as well as uneven terrain and lift and carry up to 50lbs without assistance.
Wages commensurate with qualification and experience. This position may also include a benefit package.
