Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Prepare food items according to safety and quality standards, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and restrooms throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and efficient operations.
- Assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth workflow during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in a grocery store or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment is essential.
