As a Deployment Operations Specialist at Halter, you will be at the forefront of the initial part of a new Halter customer’s journey, assisting them to get their farm and collars all set up for success. Reporting to the Customer Onboarding manager, you will be responsible for the operations of deploying our newest farms and ranches across USA, New Zealand, Australia.
You will be directly responsible for delivering the highest quality deployment experience to our ranchers and farmers. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, not only our customers, but also our sales team, and multiple cross-functional teams here at Halter.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where they will be challenged daily and encouraged to think outside the box to create more efficient and scalable processes. As we begin to scale across multiple markets simultaneously, we need someone who is comfortable with the ambiguity that may come with rapid growth. To succeed, you must learn quickly, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
Note: This position is a fixed-term contract and will run for 6-8 months.
Compensation:$70K/yr - $80K/yr.
What your day could look like
- Conduct radio modelling analysis of farms and ranches, creation of installation plans and communication of installation plans to customers.
- Timely delivery of the install planning processes to deliver on our deployment milestones in line with customer expectations.
- Communication with customers, running them through the steps of their deployment and answering relevant, and sometimes technical, questions.
- Coordinating third-party contractor timelines when required and ensuring quality requirements are met.
- Supporting our sales team pre-sale to scope prospective customers' land, to determine the commercial impacts & benefits for the rancher and Halter.
- Contribute to improving the broader deployment process to deliver an exceptional experience for ranchers.
- Work cross-functionally across teams to deliver the best outcomes for our ranchers and farmers.
Who are we looking for
- The ability to meticulously manage projects from start to finish.
- Someone who is proficient with using Google Workspace and has the ability to learn software products quickly e.g. surveying tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; you will be coordinating with team members and contractors in various regions.
- Great attention to detail, you will need to ensure work carried out by contractors and casual employees is to a high standard and completed on time.
- Excellent time management skills, you will need to prioritise jobs effectively and will be working to tight turn around times.
- A proactive thinker who can identify opportunities and action process improvements.
- Experience using tools such as Virtual Surveyor, ASANA or similar project management tools and radio frequency planning software would be a bonus.
