We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to join our growing operations team.
Job Summary:
The Dispatcher plays a key role in coordinating the pickup and delivery of RVs by assigning drivers, managing routes, and ensuring on-time performance. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong focus on customer service and logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for RV pickups and deliveries across the country
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Coordinate logistics to ensure timely and efficient transportation
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and trip details
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on delivery status
- Collaborate with the operations team to manage driver availability and equipment needs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in logistics and dispatching
- Experience with freight management and transportation planning
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and GIS/GPS technologies
- Ability to analyze data and manage multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management and fleet management practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
