- Schedule and track shipments.
- Dispatch and assign loads.
- Address issues and requests, transmitting information or providing solutions.
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.
- Use radio, phone and computer to send crews and vehicles to appropriate locations.
- Monitor route and status of trucks, coordinating and prioritizing.
- Provide drivers information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements.
- Enter data, maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information.
- 2+ years of current dispatch experience in a similar trucking environment required.

Proficient knowledge of shipping and receiving trucking operations.
