onsemi is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and results-driven Distribution Sales Manager (DSM) to discover and secure new business opportunities while growing market share. The right candidate will build professional and trusting relationships within their assigned territory and internal business unit stakeholders. In this role you will work with our three global channel partners, business units and customers to drive KPIs. The candidate will have exposure to and must effectively collaborate with numerous functional organizations across all seniority levels. This role will provide a clear path towards further career growth.
Performance Objectives
- Develop and execute sales business plans and strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier within our channel partners.
- Present sales business plans to management and business unit leadership for alignment and support.
- Develop deep understanding of the assigned territory and what are the commercial and technical requirements.
- Develop and establish strong cooperative relationships at all levels of channel organization, as well as drive timely, productive, and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Lead and drive new business demand creation with Distributor Field Application Engineers and internal business unit support to secure design wins and design win revenue.
- Present and train our channel partners on new onsemi technology and products.
- Provide timely market intelligence.
- Schedule regular business reviews within their territory and setting corrective actions for underperforming branches
- BSEE or equivalent, preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the semiconductor or distribution industry preferred.
- Sales experience with a proven track record of winning designs and growing revenue.
- Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface directly with all levels of the customers' organization.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-initiative, self-motivating, and eager to continue learning.
onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $73,600 to $128,800, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
