Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs while their owners are away. You will interact with dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their well-being and happiness throughout the day. Duties
- Supervise and engage with dogs in playgroups, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility by regularly cleaning play areas, kennels, and equipment.
- Feed and provide fresh water to dogs as per their dietary needs.
- Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.
- Assist with basic dog training techniques to promote good behavior among the pets.
- Ensure proper animal restraint techniques are used during handling.
- Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, health issues, or incidents during their stay.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus.
- Ability to handle various breeds of dogs safely and effectively.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and restraining dogs when necessary.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care is essential.
