Position Summary
As a Drive-Thru Attendant, you are the face (and voice) of our new drive-thru concept — welcoming guests, guiding them through our hemp bar experience, taking and fulfilling orders, and providing product education. You will also be cross-trained to support the inside lounge team as a Sales Associate, Budtender, Drink Maker, and more as needed, especially during the critical store development and launch phases.
Key Responsibilities
Drive-Thru & Guest Experience
- Greet and direct customers through the drive-thru and hemp bar experience with a positive, engaging attitude
- Guide guests through product choices, pricing, effects, and cannabinoid knowledge
- Prepare and serve drink orders at the drive-thru window
- Maintain clean, fully stocked drive-thru stations and service areas
- Answer product, menu, and service-related questions with confidence and enthusiasm
- Promote discounts, new launches, and specials to boost sales
Sales & Education
- Provide accurate product information and demonstrations (drinks and product walkthroughs)
- Cross-sell and upsell items effectively
- Stay up to date with new strains, products, and services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to help guests make confident purchases
- Support training efforts by mentoring new hires and modeling great service
Operations & Cleanliness
- Follow all safety and responsible serving protocols
- Handle cash and tips with accuracy, following all store procedures
- Support minor inventory checks and restocking
- Complete opening, closing, and sanitation duties, including waste tracking logs
- Ensure all cleaning tools, drink station supplies, and bar setups are fully stocked
- Collaborate with Management on service flow and guest experience improvements
- Provide feedback from customers to managers for continuous improvement
- Support special events, promotions, or pop-up needs as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or cannabis is a plus
- Energetic and people-oriented with strong communication skills
- Comfortable learning and sharing cannabis product knowledge
- Able to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Organized and self-directed with a strong attention to detail
- Open to feedback, teamwork, and shifting between roles
- Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the cannabis industry under Tennessee law
