What You’ll Do:
As a Driver/Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in improving the lives of our residents by:
- Safely transporting residents to various locations via company car, van, or bus, coordinating pick-ups and drop-offs with them, and maintaining accurate vehicle records.
- Completing scheduled maintenance and repairs for buildings and grounds, such as painting, carpet cleaning, and snow/debris removal from walkways.
- Performing apartment reconditioning tasks, including fixture installation and general repairs.
- Maintaining all areas of the community to the highest standard, ensuring proper record-keeping for work orders, certifications, and scheduling.
- Assisting in safety preparedness of associates and residents, participating in Safety Committee Meetings, fire drills, and other emergency exercises.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience in maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and grounds upkeep, with the ability to operate applicable tools and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (Chauffer’s license is required in the state of Iowa).
- Compassionate communication and teamwork skills.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
