Early Learning Pre-K Facilitator

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Pre-K Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of Pre-K aged children.

Duties

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships and support child welfare.
• Provide individualized attention to students to support their unique learning needs, including those requiring early intervention.
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective classroom management techniques.
• Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum to promote physical health and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive teaching approach and share best practices.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a pre-k or childcare setting is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of childcare principles and practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with tutoring techniques to support children's learning objectives is beneficial.
• Ability to create an inclusive environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
