Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and construction practices. This role requires effective leadership skills to coordinate teams, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Duties
- Lead and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine project costs and budgets.
- Oversee project scheduling using tools such as Microsoft Project to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and maintain safety standards on the construction site.
- Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Proficient in project management documentation and tracking.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and methodologies.
- Experience in construction management with a focus on electrical projects.
- Excellent project scheduling skills with familiarity in tools such as Primavera.
- In-depth understanding of electrical systems and components used in construction.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for presenting information clearly to diverse audiences.
