Experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician (MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE)

About the Role:
PURE is looking for a skilled Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in an emergency veterinary setting. If you do not meet this requirement, please do not apply or call our office.
Emergency veterinary medicine can be unpredictable. One moment is slow, the next is fast‑paced. We need someone who is comfortable in that environment and ready to pitch in wherever needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high‑quality patient care under the supervision of our emergency veterinarians
- Triage incoming cases, monitor hospitalized patients, and perform necessary nursing procedures
- Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order
- Communicate clearly with pet owners and team members about treatment plans and progress
Qualifications:
- At least two years of hands‑on experience in an emergency veterinary hospital
- Strong technical skills (venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, lab work, and emergency response)
- Ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays

Scheduling:
This is a full‑time position with rotating shifts. You must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed. Emergency caseloads can vary greatly, so adaptability is essential.
