Precision Billing Services, LLC for Dimitri Dermatology and Mississippi Skin & Psoriasis Center clinics' Billing & Coding Department is looking for a full-time Medical Billing Specialist for our Slidell location. With over 10 years proudly serving Louisiana & Mississippi patients and growing, we are searching for the ideal candidate to add to our dynamic team.

As one of the Medical Billing associates, you will be communicating directly with patients & insurance companies, posting incoming patient payments, finding financial solutions for patients who may need payment assistance and identifying delinquent or bad debt accounts. Other duties include, but are not limited to, taking part in monthly departmental meetings, collaborate in other special projects when needed and work under the supervision of the Billing & Coding Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with EHR Software, such as eClinicalWorks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS code & medical terminology
- Basic knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies and guidelines
- Billing or coding certification, such as CPC, CBC, CBCS (or working towards)
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- 1-2 years experience in an office setting
- GED/High School Diploma
