POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive Outreach Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the President of Shepherds Foundation, Inc., advancing the fundraising, admissions, and outreach initiatives of Shepherds College. This position blends executive support, donor relations, event coordination, and project management to strengthen partnerships and promote expansion. Candidates will thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment dedicated to empowering students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Executive & Administrative Support – Manage the President’s calendar, travel, and meetings; prepare communications, reports, and follow-ups; and maintain an outreach dashboard tied to strategic plans.
- Board & Donor Communications – Coordinate board meeting logistics and materials while managing donor and partner communications, acknowledgments, and stewardship correspondence.
- Fundraising & Admissions Support – Oversee Raiser’s Edge database management, gift processing, reporting, and provide support for donor campaigns and student recruitment initiatives.
- Event & Project Coordination – Plan and execute events such as cultivation dinners, Preview Days, expansion luncheons, and volunteer projects, handling logistics, RSVPs, and vendor coordination.
- Expansion & Strategic Initiative Support – Support expansion initiatives including new centers, curriculum promotion, and international models through scheduling, travel, documentation, and communications.
- Outreach Coordination & Workflow Optimization – Manage the outreach calendar, coordinate interdepartmental projects, and assist with marketing and campus store operations, including social media and event merchandising.
- Donor Stewardship & Community Engagement – Lead stewardship initiatives (e.g., Giving Day, Thank-a-thons), maintain donor stories and impact records, and coordinate volunteer and church partner engagement.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Minimum of five years of ministry relations, sales, customer service, or similar experience
- Demonstrated success in customer service, networking, and project management
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Familiarity with CRMs and project management tools
- Proficiency in standard office software tools and applications
