Job Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and fully functional facility. This hands-on role combines daily custodial tasks, routine maintenance, inventory monitoring, and operational support across departments. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to balance ongoing upkeep with the fast-paced needs of daily operations and live events
Key Responsibilities
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Perform daily facilities inspections to identify and resolve maintenance needs.
- Carry out daily custodial tasks and facility upkeep to ensure cleanliness and efficiency
- Conduct basic repairs and routine upkeep (e.g., light plumbing, lighting, HVAC checks, painting, furniture repairs)
- Coordinate with other departments on equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational standards across all facilities
- Provide facilities support during live events as needed
Inventory Management
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, hardware, and tools related to facilities and operations
- Maintain organized storage areas and monitor supply levels across departments
- Keep accurate inventory records and communicate restock needs
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications a plus

1–2 years of experience in facilities support, custodial work, or general maintenance
(internships, part-time, or volunteer experience welcomed)
Physical Work Abilities and Requirements
- Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working outside
- Lifting a minimum of 30 and up to 50 pounds
- Using ladders, picking up trash, and safe operation of hand and power tools.
Hours
- Flexible scheduling, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- May be requested to work overtime or after hours depending on event requirements
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $21-25 per hour
- Minimum weekly hours: 30
- Overtime: time plus one half paid for weekly hours over 40
- Sick leave paid in accordance with Washington state law.
