Company Overview: Club Pilates offers group reformer classes in various formats and levels to accommodate everyone seeking to learn Pilates and hone their fitness expertise. Club Pilates is a well-established, nation-wide brand, committed to providing affordable and accessible Pilates to the community.
Purpose: The primary purpose of the Sales Associate position is execute the sales process, which includes booking prospects into a complimentary Intro Pilates class, new membership sales, and retaining current members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service to prospects and members via face-to-face, phone and email communications.
- Execute the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close new memberships.
- Present available services to prospects and current members.
- Develop exceptional listening skills to understand prospect and member fitness goals, being able to relate their goals to Pilates, and overcoming their objections.
- Become proficient at the client management software to troubleshoot client account inquiries and possible sales opportunities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio.
- Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production.
- Assume responsibility for developing selling skills.
- Emphasize and enforce the studio's objectives, policies, and procedures as a fitness and wellness provider.
- Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, studio literature and merchandise is stocked.
- Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community events, etc.) to help in club promotion.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications

- Highly dependable and trustworthy.
- Passion for fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
- Previous retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required.
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday.
- Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must communicate professionally and effectively to clients and colleagues.
- Must have excellent public speaking skills.
- Must have proficient computer skills.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- High level social media skill to drive traffic to Club Pilates through Facebook and Instagram.
- In depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates and what sets Club Pilates apart from other Pilates studios.
- Proficient in (or ability to become) ClubReady software.
- Demonstrate anatomical knowledge and focus on safety.
- Ability to travel to different potential customer sites to aid in the sales process.
