Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest services at our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a passion for hospitality. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the front desk operations, including checking guests in and out efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Assist with night audit duties as needed, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
- Familiarity with hospitality management principles and practices is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Experience with night audit processes is an advantage but not mandatory.
