Lord of Grace Preschool is a Christ-centered early childhood program serving children ages 3–5. Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and flexible Floating Preschool Teacher to join our supportive team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth transitions throughout our classrooms by stepping in where help is needed most. Ideal candidates are joyful team players who love young children, have a heart for ministry, and are excited to support a variety of learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for all children
.• Support lead teachers with daily activities and routines.
- Step into classrooms as needed to assist with lessons, transitions, or breaks.
- Foster positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
- Model Christian values through interactions, behavior, and communication.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classroom spaces.
Qualifications
Required:
- 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed early childhood setting
Preferred:
- CDA, NAC, or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Current fingerprint clearance card (or willingness to obtain)
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months (or willingness to obtain)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Schedule
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday
- 4.5 hour shifts (8:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
- No weekends• Follows the MUSD school calendar
