Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Supervisor to oversee flooring installation projects and ensure high-quality workmanship on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, restoration, and construction management. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate flooring installation projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Train and mentor team members in flooring techniques, including tile laying, buffing, and the use of power tools.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers to interpret blueprints and plan installations effectively.
- Manage materials inventory and order supplies as needed for ongoing projects.
- Address any issues that arise on-site promptly, including water damage restoration or other repair needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in flooring installation techniques, including tile laying and buffing.
- Experience with construction site management and supervision.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration processes.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading for effective project execution.
- Ability to operate various power tools safely and efficiently.
- Strong maintenance person skills with a focus on carpentry tasks as needed.
