Location: Soldotna Chiropractic & Upper Cervical, Soldotna AK
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 5:30 PM. approx: 12:00-1:00pm clinic closed for lunch.
- Some Thursdays off, as determined by clinic needs
Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and friendly Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clinic’s front office. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with computers. Experience in a chiropractic clinic and familiarity with ChiroTouch software are preferred but not required. Medical knowledge is a plus but not necessary. This role involves managing patient interactions, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive experience.
- Insurance Verification and Authorizations: Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and communicate with insurance providers as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage patient records, process payments, and maintain accurate documentation using clinic software.
- Team Coordination: Manage daily schedules of massage therapists And Chiropractor. Oversee front desk operations, support staff, and ensure a welcoming environment for patients.
- Computer Skills: Utilize office software, including scheduling systems and electronic health records (EHR), to manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with doctors, staff, patients, billing, and other providers with a professional demeanor. Demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods. Must have the dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with insurance verification and authorizations.
- Preferred:
- Experience in a chiropractic clinic or medical office.
- Familiarity with ChiroTouch software.
- No prior medical knowledge is required; training will be provided.
