Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist with seating arrangements and manage reservations efficiently.
- Provide attentive service to guests, taking orders accurately and responding to inquiries regarding menu items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Handle food handling and preparation tasks in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and common areas.
- Support bartending staff by assisting with drink orders when necessary.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Participate in banquet services as needed, contributing to special events and functions.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience as a dietary aide or in restaurant settings is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
