The Fundraising Volunteer is a volunteer position that will assist with fundraising efforts to increase brand awareness and ultimately grow our community of donors. The objective is to spread our message and encourage our community of supporters to make donations to Youth Empowerment Society. Upon marketing manager approval, access may be granted to use any appropriate digital marketing outlets (website, blog, newsletter, press releases, etc.) and/or social media channels to promote active fundraising campaigns, encouraging public support. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholders to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Conduct research to identify potential funding sources and grant opportunities.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials to promote fundraising initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to strategize and implement effective fundraising campaigns.
- Provide excellent customer service and public relations support to foster community engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management skills
- Experience in fundraising and donor engagement
- Proficient in research and data analysis
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and strategic planning
- Grant writing experience is a plus
