Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Shop Supervisor to assist our gift shop in delivering exceptional customer service and creating an amazing shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail Christmas. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring inventory control, and fostering a positive work environment while giving our customers an amazing experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the shop.
- Manage daily store operations while providing outstanding customer service.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment and display.
- Process daily shipping of custom orders (packing and shipping)
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills in retail sales and customer service.
- Collaborate with upper management to implement promotional strategies that drive sales growth.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise in a timely manner.
- Occasionally perform opening or closing of the store.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in store management or a similar supervisory role within the retail industry.
- Strong background in sales management with a focus on achieving results.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers and staff alike.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in training and developing team members.
- Proficient in administrative tasks related to retail operations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
