Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance skills and be able to perform various tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of two restaurants. This role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Knowledge of HVAC and commercial appliances (ice machines, gas grills & flat tops, refrigeration units) a must.
- Utilize an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues that require attention.
- Assemble furniture and equipment as needed.
- Install fixtures, appliances, and other items according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance person services or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with using tools and equipment necessary for repairs and installations.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
