Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with the ability to work at heights and handle various tree-related tasks. This role involves climbing trees to perform trimming, removal, and maintenancĥĥe while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Climb trees using appropriate techniques and equipment for safe access to branches.
- Perform tree trimming and removal operations in accordance with industry standards.
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment for tree care tasks.
- Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower branches and sections of trees.
- Conduct inspections of trees to assess health and identify potential hazards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Collaborate with team members on landscape maintenance projects, including lawn care and horticulture tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding tree care needs.
Experience
- Proven experience in tree climbing, trimming, and care is preferred.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and safe operation of bucket trucks is essential.
- Knowledge of GIS systems for mapping tree locations is a plus.
- Background in landscaping, lawn care, or horticulture will be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.58 per hour
