Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in White Plains, KY
Our Equipment Operators operate equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, and off-road dump trucks. You will be responsible for routine inspection and maintenance on the equipment such as checking oil, water, and tires.

Pay Rate: $22.50/hr plus approximately 10 or so hours of overtime weekly.
(Overtime is time and a half after 40 hrs)
Schedule: 6:30am start time averaging approximately 10 hours per day.
Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating heavy equipment such as: bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor grader, scraper, and compactors.
- Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
- Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
Job Requirements –
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
