We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Health Care Administrator to oversee the operations of our home health care agency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of resident rights, financial acumen, and operations management. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home health care agency, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that adhere to regulatory standards and promote resident rights.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, billing, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality care for residents, including those with developmental disabilities.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork among staff.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to address concerns and improve service delivery.
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations related to home health care operations.
- Conduct regular assessments of service quality and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a home care or nursing home setting.
- Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for client needs.
- Financial acumen with experience in budget management and operational oversight.
- Knowledge of operations management principles specific to home health care services.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- A valid nursing license is a plus but not mandatory for this administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
