Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and customer service, as well as the ability to supervise projects when necessary. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for both staff and customers.
Responsibilities
- Performs repair and maintenance of facilities, guest rooms and public spaces.
- Maintains building by performing basic repairs, plumbing, electrical ,HVAC ,drywall repair, painting and other related building maintenance activities as needed.
- Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel-area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance in down time.
- Moves furniture, equipment and guest luggage as required.
- Properly maintains inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies required for projects.
- Provides timely and professional manpower assistance and backup to the Hotel.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
- Install and replace basic electrical fixtures. Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures.
- Handles chemicals according to hotel/regulatory safety requirements.
- Maintains the condition of the hotel lobbies and restaurants Repairs furniture and decorations as necessary
- Swimming Pool and Hot Tub maintenance
- Snow Removal and parking lot maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Perform regular preventative maintenance .
- Provide excellent customer service to the hotel guest

Pay: $16.49 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
