Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences and maximizing operational efficiency. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a keen understanding of revenue management, and the ability to foster a positive work environment for staff while ensuring high standards of service for guests.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue management to optimize occupancy rates and profitability.
- Oversee human resources functions, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of hotel staff.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Coordinate night audit processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with department heads to enhance operational efficiency and improve guest satisfaction.
- Monitor phone systems and ensure effective communication across all departments.
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, guest services, and resort management practices.
- Familiarity with revenue management techniques to drive profitability.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficient in using hotel management software and phone systems.
