Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of hospitality, and optimizing revenue management strategies to enhance profitability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead hotel staff, including hospitality reps, bartenders housekeeping, and facilities teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee guest services and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery.
- Manage budgeting and financial planning to optimize hotel revenue while controlling costs.
- Implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize occupancy rates and average daily rates.
- Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of hotel staff.
- Maintain strong guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette to manage incoming calls effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hotel.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Experience in revenue management and budgeting processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to enhancing guest experiences.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, guest services, and food and beverage.
- Proficient in using multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
- Previous experience in supervising staff within a resort or hotel environment is preferred.
