Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all departments, maintaining high standards of service, and managing staff effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently and effectively.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in/check-out processes and night audits.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and satisfaction, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Develop and implement budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize revenue management strategies.
- Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff while fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as hotel policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery to guests.
- Utilize phone systems effectively for communication with staff and guests.
- Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance their experience at the hotel.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with proven experience in hotel operations.
- Proficiency in front desk operations and night audit procedures.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management within a hotel setting.
- Familiarity with human resources practices related to hiring, training, and employee relations.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a culture of excellence in service delivery.
- Experience working in resort environments is advantageous.
