Position Summary:
The HR Generalist will support and execute core human resources functions across the agency. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about building a strong and supportive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding
- Develop job postings and manage applicant tracking systems.
- Coordinate interviews and assist with candidate selection.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and credential files.
Employee Relations & Support
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Support conflict resolution and performance management processes.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for retention strategies.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and Medicaid regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits and reporting for credentialing and staffing compliance.
Benefits & Compensation
- Administer employee benefits programs and coordinate enrollments.
- Support payroll processing and compensation reviews.
- Conduct salary surveys and assist with pay structure evaluations.
HRIS & Reporting
- Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data and generate reports.
- Track credential expirations and training deadlines.
- Provide insights on staffing trends and workforce metrics.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or home health.
- Familiarity with Medicaid, GAPP, and healthcare credentialing is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Suite; HRIS experience preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.59 - $28.41 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
