Classification: Full-time, Non-Exempt, 1.0 FTE
Compensation: $19.23 - $21.63 per hour DOE

POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position will provide logistic, planning, and staffing support to our Health and Wellness Department, with a specific focus on Health Related Social Needs (HRSN) services . This position will assist with data entry, technical assistance, on-site support for activities and events, purchasing supplies, and administrative support, including scheduling and tracking expenses, as well as act as a community liaison between landlords and property management companies, utility service providers, and home remediation and repair services. A key function of this role includes supporting HRSN program implementation by assisting the Community Health Response team in tracking financial payments to housing and utility companies, tracking and managing future rent and utility payments, completing eligibility assessments, collecting and processing documentation, coordinating with Care Coordination Organizations (CCOs), and providing organizational and clerical support as assigned. This position is meant to be flexible in meeting the department's needs and collaborating with departments across the organization. The department's primary goal is to increase the health and wellness of Latino youth and families through HRSN education, enrollment, and resource navigation.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the Health and Wellness Community Health Response team with events, activities and on-site support for HRSN benefit implementation.
- Provides administrative support to the Director and Managers, including support with scheduling, tracking expenses, and project management.
- Participates in team meetings, agency all-staff meetings, and organizational events.
- Coordinates with landlords, property management companies, utility service providers, home remediation and repair services, community partners, Coordinated Care Organizations and other affiliate organizations as assigned..
- Assist in tracking financial payments to housing and utility service providers.
- Monitor and manage future rent and utility payment schedules.
- Enters data and documentation using Efforts to Outcomes (ETO), UnitUs, and other internal data tracking as assigned.
- Meets deadlines for mileage, program expense reimbursements, and timesheets.
- Meets data deadlines to ensure reports are completed on time.
- Complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and existing confidentiality laws.
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Respectfully takes direction from supervisor and performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with spreadsheets and tracking expenses
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through on tasks
- 2-4 years of experience in community health promotion.
- Knowledge of and experience working with families in the Latino community, familiarity with the worldview and cultural practices of Latino community members impacted by multiple systemic barriers.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience effectively facilitating knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Basic understanding of mental health and educational institutions, resources, programs, social services, and government agencies.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent attention to detail, great organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data entry skills.
- Excellent phone and computer skills are required.
- Reliable transportation throughout the workday for travel to various on-site sites as needed.

This position requires frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
