Overview
AFIMAC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist HR Manager in various administrative functions, managing paperwork/mail, general office support.
- Maintain employee records in HR systems such as BullHorn and UKG, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Sending and completing onboarding via BullHorn system.
- Help with recruiting, sourcing and scheduling interviews.
- Communicate with employees, candidates, and external parties, while being timely and professional.
- Participate in project management activities related to HR initiatives and programs.
- Handle sensitive employee information and maintain strict confidentiality.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Strong project management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience in recruiting processes, including sourcing candidates through various platforms.
- Familiarity with BullHorn or similar applicant tracking systems.
- Understanding of employment labor laws to ensure compliance within the workplace.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective employee relations and communication.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year's experience in Human Resources environment.
- Ability to be in office, possible nights/weekends/overtime.
- Possible travel.
- Pay is based on experience.
