JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for HR functions at the Eagle Butte or Belle Ayr Mine sites as well as providing support to management and staff to ensure compliance with all company policies, State, and Federal regulations/laws related to Human Resources.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position according to the Physical Demands Analysis
- Assist with the coordination and development of HR training to employees on company programs, labor relations, State and Federal law
- Generate offer letters, pre-employment process, coordinate start dates, etc.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation
- Keep senior management informed of any high-risk issues which are threats to company (i.e. law suits, discrimination, labor relations violations, serious employee morale concerns, etc.)
- Assist with workforce planning and development of employees
- Responsible for various Human Resource programs (i.e. drug and alcohol program, employee assistance program, implementation of new programs, etc.)
- Assist with the performance management programs (performance development and positive discipline program) to ensure performance issues are identified and handled in compliance with company, State, and Federal laws
- Recommend and assist in the development, implementation, and interpretation of Prairie Eagle Mining policies and programs
- Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Manage all recruitment activities
- Coordinate all temporary contract labor
- Other assignments and projects as assigned
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Comply with Company Drug and Alcohol Program
$65,000 - $80,000 / annual DOE
